What to read
Record the gross rate, hours, payment date, work volume, termination procedure and possible deductions. Do not agree to verbal promises "leave will be like everyone else", if the contract does not provide for this.
Payment in 2026
For contracts falling under the minimum hourly rate, from 1 January 2026 the minimum is 31.40 zł gross per hour. This is not a universal net rate: taxes and contributions depend on your situation, and the law provides for exceptions to the hourly minimum.
In dispute
Keep your own record of shifts and transfer confirmations. Conditions that are actually appropriate for work should be discussed with the Państwowa Inspekcja Pracy; the title of the contract alone does not solve the problem.
