How it works
Permission is issued by the voivode. The decision shall state the reason, duration and, if applicable, conditions of employment. It is not citizenship and it is not an indefinite status. For stays for work purposes, a regular single permit can be issued for a period of more than three months to three years.
What to do to the reader
Choose the procedure according to your real purpose, not by the name “residency card”. The documents of an employee, student and family member are different. The application for regular temporary stay is submitted through the MOS; the detailed procedure and exceptions are set out in the related instruction.
Not to be confused with visa
Visa, temporary permit and plastic card are different documents. Filing an application does not in itself confer a new set of labour rights or replace a document for return across the border.
